Missing someone who is very dear to me. I’m reposting this video from a few years back, when @nelsoncaruncho was able to fly to HK anytime to share any milestone (or trial) in my life.
Nelson has been my voice teacher for 18 years now, and he has seen my ups and downs. He’s a strong cheerleader, but also a harsh critic.
In these past few weeks, he would drill me with vocal exercises daily.
Because he was not here, I would record rehearsals and send them to him. He would reply in real time, often in CAPS, especially if I wasn’t doing things properly.
When my nerves falter, I have real friends to depend on. Nelson is one of them. I hope we get to sing together again soon.
